The present Ayurvedic clinic at Mallappally, Pathanamthitta, Kerala was started in 1990. Anima obtained a drug license for manufacturing more than 200 medicines. As a result, a certified drug manufacturing unit, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), also runs as a part of the clinic. The clinic grew both in stature and structure and developed into a full-fledged hospital with an inpatient wing in 2004. The Clinic also acquired all modern facilities and internet/teleconsultations etc. were provided in 2004. Anima Ayurvedic Centre gives the best ayurvedic treatment for all kinds of diseases and lifestyle problems. We very effectively provide excellent Ayurveda & Wellness Treatments and it has an experienced group of Ayurveda Doctors who strictly follows traditional methods and systems.

Post Natal Care

Prasava Raksha

The Prasava Raksha is one of our specialized treatment programs ensuring postnatal care for the mother and her child. The postpartum period also involves you and your partner learning how to care for your newborn and learning how to function as a changed family unit. Prasava Raksha refers to the process of taking care of the mother during the postnatal period, ideally from the moment of birth up to 6 weeks after that. The postpartum period is very critical and the mother’s health must bounce back to the status quo. This ayurvedic treatment entails giving complete attention to the mother’s needs and taking care of the healthy development of the baby as well. Traditional herbal bath is one among the important feature of postpartum care called Vethu kuli, it’s a medicinal hot water bath that nourishes the body to ease the difficulties of delivery & helps to reduce swelling, edema, etc from the body, soon after the delivery a mother should give prior importance to her wound.
